Exploring the use of screen-printing, Risograph and letterpress, I challenged myself to produce a project which utilised all three techniques together. Approaching the end of my time in Finland, I chose to create a zine which reflected on some key thoughts on life as an outsider.
Shapes paying homage to the ubiquitous Alvar Aalto form create an abstract pattern across the zine.
My own photographs are incorporated as riso-printed graphics throughout the publication.
Upon finishing the project, I was invited to present my process and outcome in a small exhibition at Aalto Univeristy.
